Konia Water and Hawkins Home Garden Living
Hawkins Home Garden Living (www.hawkins.net.au) remains the essential one‐stop centre for information, inspiration and innovation for the Home & Garden. As the new concept stores rollout, the entire range of Konia WATER from AIR products have been added to the new line‐up with this technology on display at both the Albany Creek and Chandler locations.
In January 2006, Konia was awarded an ISUS grant from the Government of Queensland for the continued development of WATER from AIR technology, a partnership that continues to produce strong results with two new “WATER from AIR” models released to the market in 2008. The Konia 8000 and 9000 water generator models were specifically designed in Queensland, Australia with the active lifestyle and Asia‐pacific climate in mind. Both systems provide the power efficiency and flexibility to complement existing water resources and are ideal for topping up the tank, the pool and giving the garden a healthy drink.
Both systems can also be installed in a “bank” arrangement – a design that Southern Star/Endemol used to power the Big Brother house for the last two seasons of the reality TV smash hit for Channel Ten. These systems used in conjunction with Konia Pi‐Water can produce fantastic horticultural and hydroponic results whilst also reducing your dependency on expensive Mains Water.
